Shelley Roupas founded Feel Good Frames in 2002. After almost a decade of reporting the news, she put down her overworked pen, and picked up her under-used paintbrush. She soon discovered, with great delight, that creating the designs and taking them to market is every bit as exciting and fun as the news biz. Even better, she now gets to spend many of her days painting in the company's sun-drenched studio, with her two young sons often coloring beside her.

Our frames are not manufactured by the dozens, but joyfully & carefully created by Shelley and her team of artists. Our studio is based in North Carolina, and all of our frames are made entirely in the USA.

We love what we do. Making these frames makes us feel good. We hope they make you feel good, too.
